Overview

I took my first photograph at the age of 7 (a picture of my parents dressed up in their finery before they went to a garden party at Buckingham Palace!) and have been taking photos ever since (OK, slight exaggeration!)

I discovered in the mid-nineties that I get on much better with Pentax cameras than with any other brand, which was a bit of an annoyance when the digital revolution happened as Pentax DSLRs were dreadfully expensive. However, nowadays they're just rather expensive, so I now have a K100D, which I love with a passion, and with which I have taken several thousand photos.

In June 2006, I had my first solo photographic exhibition. This was held at Little St Mary's church; several of the photos I had were sold, and raised money for the church. Two photographs of mine were used on the church Christmas cards last year; and five of my photographs of Little St Mary's are now available as postcards (again for church funds). My second exhibition will take place in July 2008, and the photos from it will appear here shortly thereafter.

My latest photographic obsession is Geograph. This can be incredibly addictive, so be warned before getting sucked in yourself!

A lot of my photographs are stored on fotopic. See particularly, perhaps, my galleries from Corsica in March 2007, Belgium in April 2007, and Cornwall in October 2006. Some other pictures can be found here.
